Candle care
A longer, cleaner, brighter burn.
Beeswax burns hotter, brighter, and longer than paraffin or soy, with a gentle honey scent and no synthetic fragrance. A little care goes a long way.

- 01
Trim the wick
Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch before every burn. A long wick means a tall, smoky flame and uneven heat.
- 02
Let the first burn pool
For pillars and figures, let the melt pool reach nearly to the edge on the first burn (1–2 hours). This sets the candle's “memory” and prevents tunneling.
- 03
Snuff, don't blow
Dip the lit wick into the melted wax with a matchstick, then lift it back upright. No smoke, and the wick is primed for next time.
- 04
Mind the drafts
Drafts make beeswax drip and flicker. Burn tapers upright in a snug holder, away from open windows and fans.
- 05
Use a dish
Beeswax figures soften beautifully as they burn. Always set them on a heat-safe dish or plate.
- 06
Love the bloom
Over time pure beeswax develops a soft white “bloom.” It's a sign of the real thing. Buff it away with a warm, soft cloth.
Safety first. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep candles away from children, pets, and anything flammable. Stop burning when 1 inch of wax remains on pillars, or ½ inch on figures.
